Nikola Pekovic (1991) from Kraljevo (Serbia) finished undergraduate and master studies at the Faculty of Arts in Nis with the highest score, in the class of Miljan Bjeletić. He work on the same facultaty as assistant of accordion.
The last ten years has been active on the concert platform as a soloist and chamber musician in Serbia, Montenegro, Slovakia, Italy, Germany, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Greece, France, Portugal, Spain, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Slovenia, China , Belgium and Russia.
Third and fourth year of facultaty He ended up in the school year 2012/2013 (He gave two years in one). It allowed him to successfully implement his plans for professional development through writting master studies, and then a doctorate.
He won the third series “I got Talent”competition 2012. with hes sister Bojana, and received praise from the greatest artists, composers, teachers and experts in the accordion world.
This is based completely new musical direction on the world music scene, of which we are the founders and creators and they agreed not only to members of the jury that Mr. Ivan Tasovac (director of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra and the Serbian Minister of Culture), than also the entire professional domestic and international audience.
In the period of 20.06.2008 – 28.06.2008 He was in Strasbourg at the Parlamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, as a representative of the music youth of Serbia. It included an exhibition organized by the Permanent Mission of Serbia to the Council of Europe, at the occasion of the European Convention for the Protection of old and traditional crafts during the June session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, which is officially supported and introduced by the permanent delegation of the Serbian Parliament in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council Europe. By protocol, He opened and closed the exhibition with accordion and presented Serbian national, traditional and classical music on the accordion.
